INITIAL SKETCHES :
WHO IS THE CHARACTER?
For this brand, I came up with a character who would be similar to me as a reflection of my inner world. In order for the café to create a welcoming and cosy atmosphere for all people.
FIRST DESIGNs
INITIAL DESIGNS:
At the very beginning I wanted to create a character that would represent me and also correspond to the identity of the coffee shop. So at first I just did lustrations without a sketch and then after making a sketch on paper I started to recreate an improved version of myself. I removed all the unnecessary colours (red sweater) changed the hair colour, made the headphones smaller and more indented, and added small debates like shadows and highlights.
DEVELOPED DESIGNS:
And then I started to create myself in different combinations and poses such as sitting and holding coffee, drinking it and being a barista. Although all these illustrations depict only one character, this character metaphorically recreates the entire community of this café. Every person has value, and every person has their own role in creating this community and the fullness of this café.
